Intrinsic Imaging Appoints Leading Vascular and Interventional Radiologist Dr. Amit Mehta as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer

San Antonio, TX — December 16, 2010 — Intrinsic Imaging LLC, a medical imaging core lab providing complete image management and radiological review services to global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device organizations, announces today that Amit Mehta, M.D., a leading vascular and interventional radiologist, was appointed to Vice President and Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Mehta completed his Radiology residency and Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship training at Harvard Medical School at the world renowned Massachusetts General Hospital. He is double boarded and specialty certified in diagnostic radiology in Canada and the USA. Dr. Mehta also possesses a Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Mehta is widely published in radiology and served as a peer reviewer for several Radiology journals. He has authored three textbooks in Radiology, both in the clinical sphere and research arenas. He has participated in various facets of the educational process with a focus on medical and computer applications in research and radiology. He has participated in all facets of the clinical trial process.
