Since founding Intrinsic Imaging in 2010, our ambition has been clear: to build an organization distinguished by scientific excellence, technological leadership, uncompromising quality, and exceptional operational performance. Sixteen years later, these principles remain the foundation of our success and the driving force behind our future.

Today, Intrinsic Imaging is a globally established imaging core lab and imaging contract research organization (CRO), supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and artificial intelligence companies across the clinical development continuum. With a network of more than 1000 physicians and experience supporting over 4000 imaging centers across 64 countries, we combine international reach with the specialized expertise and operational precision required to execute complex clinical research programs.

Our reputation is built upon an uncompromising commitment to quality. Intrinsic Imaging is the only imaging core lab in the world to hold five internationally recognized ISO certifications for the provision of imaging core lab services—a distinction that reflects the extraordinary rigor of our quality management systems, operational processes, information security, and business continuity practices.

Combined with three successful FDA inspections, each concluding with zero Form FDA 483 observations, this achievement underscores our commitment to the highest standards of scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

A New Era of Independence

The success of Intrinsic Imaging in establishing itself as a globally respected imaging core lab and imaging CRO culminated in its acquisition by WCG Clinical in 2021 for $80 million. This milestone represented a significant validation of the organization we had built, the scientific and operational capabilities we had developed, and the enduring value of our relationships with clients and partners worldwide.

Earlier this year, following five years as part of WCG Clinical, Dr. Mehta and I reacquired Intrinsic Imaging, marking a defining moment in our history and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The return to independent, management-led ownership reunites the company’s strategic direction with the leadership, experience, and entrepreneurial vision that established its foundation.

This transition represents far more than a change in ownership. It is a deliberate commitment by our senior leadership to the long-term future of Intrinsic Imaging, reinforcing our confidence in the organization, its people, and the substantial opportunities ahead.

With renewed independence, we have restored the agility, direct accountability, and strategic focus necessary to move decisively, invest in transformative technologies, and accelerate the evolution of our operating model.
