Todd A. Joron, BSc., MBA

Mr. Joron is the President, Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder of Intrinsic Imaging. He co-founded the company in 2010 and has been instrumental in transforming the company into a globally recognized medical imaging core laboratory. Under his leadership, Intrinsic Imaging has supported clinical trials in more than 65 countries, established a global network of over 1000 board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians, achieved five ISO certifications, and earned a reputation for scientific excellence, operational rigor, and exceptional quality. In 2021, he led the successful sale of Intrinsic Imaging to WCG Clinical in a transaction valued at approximately $80 million, creating a successful shareholder exit and integrating Intrinsic Imaging's expertise into one of the world's leading providers of clinical research solutions. Following the acquisition, he continued to lead the business within WCG Clinical's Scientific and Regulatory Division. In 2026, he and Dr. Mehta successfully reacquired Intrinsic Imaging, returning the company to independent ownership and resuming his role as President and Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership positions including Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and General Manager. He has extensive experience founding companies, raising private equity and venture capital financing, executing mergers and acquisitions, managing global operations, and creating shareholder value. Prior to Intrinsic Imaging, he served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of PAREXEL's Perceptive Informatics division, where he held full P&L responsibility for a $165 million global business comprised of five software development organizations operating in six countries and serving clients in more than 85 countries. Earlier in his career, he was a founding shareholder of Phoenix International Life Sciences, which grew into one of the world's largest multinational bioanalytical contract research organizations with approximately 1,500 employees. Phoenix completed a successful NASDAQ initial public offering valued at approximately $150 million. He also held senior leadership positions at Management Science Associates, TissueInformatics, and BiblioMondo, where as President and Chief Executive Officer he led international expansion through strategic acquisitions and established operations across North America and Europe. He is widely recognized for his expertise in artificial intelligence, medical imaging, software development, clinical research, and regulated healthcare technologies. His experience spans preclinical research, Phase I-IV clinical trials, Class I-III medical devices, software as a service (SaaS), GAMP5, software validation, 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR Part 820, and FDA-regulated quality systems including GMP, GCP, and GLP. He has overseen some of the industry's most innovative artificial intelligence-enabled clinical studies and has supported several of the largest cardiovascular research programs involving wearable technologies, including studies conducted with Apple and Garmin devices. His therapeutic expertise spans cardiology, cardiothoracic medicine, gastroenterology, musculoskeletal disorders, neurology, and oncology. Mr. Joron holds a degree in Health Sciences from John Abbott College and a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University.

Amit Mehta, MD, FRCP(C), DABR, DCBNC

Dr. Mehta is Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of Intrinsic Imaging. He is an internationally recognized interventional radiologist, healthcare entrepreneur, investor, and innovator with extensive experience spanning medical imaging, clinical research, artificial intelligence, medical devices, and healthcare technology. As Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Intrinsic Imaging, Dr. Mehta helped build the company into one of the world's leading medical imaging core laboratories, supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and artificial intelligence clinical trials across more than 60 countries. Under his medical leadership, Intrinsic Imaging became known for its scientific rigor, physician expertise, and commitment to quality, ultimately leading to the company's successful acquisition by WCG Clinical in 2021. Dr. Mehta is a board-certified radiologist and fellowship-trained interventional radiologist. He completed both his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Image-Guided Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mehta is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor. He currently serves as General Partner at Builders VC, where he focuses on healthcare technology investments and advises innovative companies from early-stage development through growth and commercialization. Prior to joining Builders VC, he participated in healthcare investments through Formation 8 and has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards. Throughout his career, Dr. Mehta has been at the forefront of healthcare innovation, with particular expertise in artificial intelligence, imaging biomarkers, digital health, medical devices, and clinical trial methodology. He has founded multiple healthcare companies, invented medical technologies, and helped advance the application of AI and advanced analytics within clinical research and patient care. A respected academic and researcher, Dr. Mehta has co-authored three medical textbooks, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and serves as an SBIR/STTR reviewer for the National Institutes of Health. His contributions to medicine and healthcare innovation have earned numerous recognitions, including the Radiological Society of North America's George Brown Award, the Joseph E. Whitley Award, and selection to the San Antonio Business Journal's "40 Under 40."

Heekwan Lee, BSc.

Mr. Heekwan Lee is Vice President of Imaging Operations at Intrinsic Imaging and a recognized expert in clinical trial imaging, imaging core laboratory operations, artificial intelligence-enabled imaging solutions, and regulatory-compliant image analysis. With more than 27 years of experience in medical imaging and clinical research, he has played a leadership role in the successful execution of hundreds of global clinical trials across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and artificial intelligence sectors. As Vice President, Mr. Lee provides executive leadership across all imaging operations, with responsibility for operational strategy, scientific oversight, regulatory compliance, and the execution of AI-enabled imaging clinical trials. He serves as Intrinsic Imaging's principal subject matter expert for artificial intelligence applications in medical imaging, guiding clients and internal teams on AI tool validation, imaging workflow design, reader study methodology, and regulatory considerations for FDA-aligned imaging programs. Mr. Lee possesses extensive expertise in oncology imaging, including RECIST 1.1, iRECIST, RANO, and Choi response assessment methodologies, as well as multi-reader, multi-case (MRMC) study design, DICOM data management, imaging charter development, radiologist training, and imaging endpoint adjudication. He has led imaging operations for pivotal global clinical trials and has been instrumental in bridging innovative AI technologies with regulatory-compliant imaging workflows. Prior to his current role, Mr. Lee served as Senior Director of Imaging Operations at WCG Clinical and previously held progressively senior leadership positions at Intrinsic Imaging, including Senior Director and Director of Imaging Operations. Earlier in his career, he spent more than thirteen years with PAREXEL's Perceptive Informatics division, where he advanced through increasingly responsible roles supporting imaging core laboratory programs worldwide. During this time, he coordinated site qualification and imaging training programs across Europe, North and South America, and East Asia, helping establish standardized imaging acquisition guidelines and quality assurance processes for multinational clinical trials. Throughout his career, Mr. Lee has developed deep expertise in AI and CAD validation, DICOM standards, GAMP 5, computerized system validation, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, imaging quality assurance, workflow automation, and operational scalability. He has collaborated extensively with sponsors, radiologists, software engineers, regulators, and clinical research teams to develop innovative imaging solutions that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory readiness. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Mathematics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University. He also holds professional certifications in Client/Server Technology, Bioinformatics, and SAS Business Analytics, reflecting his unique combination of scientific, technical, and operational expertise.

Huy Nguyen, BSc.

Huy Nguyen serves as Director of Imaging Operations at Intrinsic Imaging, where he leads operational strategy and execution for imaging-based clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas. With more than 15 years of experience in medical imaging core laboratories, Huy has developed extensive expertise in clinical trial imaging operations, electronic data capture systems, image quality control, site training, and workflow optimization. Since joining Intrinsic Imaging in 2013, he has played an integral role in the company's growth, advancing through increasingly senior leadership positions while helping to build and refine the operational processes that support global clinical studies. Huy works closely with project management, quality, and technical teams to ensure efficient study startup, standardized image acquisition, data integrity, and exceptional client service. His deep understanding of imaging technologies, clinical trial workflows, and imaging informatics enables him to deliver practical solutions that enhance study execution and operational efficiency. Prior to joining Intrinsic Imaging, Huy held imaging operations and project leadership roles at PAREXEL, where he supported international imaging studies and contributed to the development of imaging processes, training programs, and specialized MRI analysis initiatives. Huy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is recognized for his commitment to quality, operational excellence, and client-focused execution in imaging clinical research.
