About Us

We founded Intrinsic Imaging in 2010 to bring subspecialty medical expertise and disciplined clinical trial operations together within one imaging core lab. Today, we support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and AI/CAD studies through a global network of more than 650 board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians.

From our headquarters in Bolton, Massachusetts, we coordinate imaging activities from protocol and charter development through independent assessment and final data delivery. Our return to independent, management-led ownership in 2026 builds on the same principle that shaped our founding: reliable imaging evidence requires clinical judgment, methodological rigor and accountable execution.

Our Company and Direction

Our development reflects a sustained investment in physician expertise, imaging operations and quality management. That foundation continues to guide the decisions we make as an independent company.

Our Story traces the company's development from its founding in 2010 through the expansion of its clinical trial work, the establishment of its quality management system and its return to independent ownership in 2026.

Our leadership brings together medical oversight, imaging operations, technology and project management. These complementary disciplines connect the scientific requirements of a study with the practical responsibilities of delivering it.

Physician Network

Our physician network provides the subspecialty expertise required to interpret clinical trial images across Cardiovascular, Central Nervous System, Gastroenterology, Musculoskeletal, Oncology and Ophthalmology. Readers are selected for the indication, imaging modality and response criteria specified by each protocol.

That expertise is supported by documented credentialing, study-specific qualification and ongoing performance review. Together, these processes establish how a physician is selected, prepared and monitored throughout a study.
